Strand 3 Character Development

Our vision of Life in all its fullness ensures that pupils and staff of Evenwood C of E primary school are given the opportunities to be the best they can be.  Children and staff use our vision and the school’s Christian values to make positive choices and we are seeing this both in school and beyond.

In the school community

In the local community

Alfie wanted to raise money for a local hero in the village.  She provided hot meals to vulnerable people and key workers during lockdown.  Alfie took it upon himself to organise a sponsored bike ride to raise money to support this good cause. He raised £1385.

Some of the children from our school rasied money by completing jobs to give key workers a small gift.

The children made Christmas cards to go in a Christmas dinner package for the elderly in the village.

Some of our children have been busy making Evenwood tidy.  They have been serving the community by organising and taking part in regular litter picks.

Niall saved his pocket money to buy presents for those who are less fortunate.
